WR200x200PurpleRiley Grier Thanksgiving Day Ride

Thursday November 23, 2017 - Charlotte, NC - Meet at the parking lot of McAlistar’s at the intersection of Carmel and Quail Hollow Roads at 8:30 am. The ride starts at 8:30, not 8:31, so please get there in time in order to leave at that time so we can be back by 10:30ish. This is about a 40 mile ride that will average about 19-20 mph. Technically a drop ride, however, most people on this distribution are more than capable of that pace. Like in the past, there may be some quick spots, but a regroup (or soft pedal) will allow people to get back on. Ask people from last year’s ride and I believe they would say this ride keeps moving and the pace is very manageable. Without boring everyone with disclaimers, I want to stress that this is a ride at your own risk ride. I’m just trying to get a great group of folks together before we all enjoy meals with family and friends. Remember that Thanksgiving is a day to reflect on all of the things/people in our lives that make living in this great country such an honor and so much fun.

Several folks have committed and should be a good one. Pace determined by who shows, but expect about a 19-avg with regroups on this unmarked route. No one left for dead. Message Tim Sigmon for more details. Route Link:
