Saturday May 6, 2017 - Matthews, NC - This ride is to benefit the Smith Family Wellness Center, operated by Project 658.  The Smith Family Wellness Clinic (SFWC) exists to be Charlotte’s premier clinic that offers medical and counseling services in a combined facility for Charlotte families that are facing personal and family struggles and challenges.  For many Charlotte families, access to affordable, safe and quality care is difficult and a near impossibility.  The SFWC is designed to provide care for medical and counseling needs and exists in connection with holistic family care services provided by the Project 658 Center.   This one of a kind clinic helps address both physical and emotional needs that arise from injury, abuse, addiction and trauma for its patients.

Saturday May 6, 2017 - Clayton, NC - Starting from the historical location of Flowers Plantation, two courses of 20+ and 40+ miles have been laid out for the rider's enjoyment.  Those that do the 40 mile course will have a rest stop at the Carolina Mudcats Stadium where they will be met with a hospitality suite of many proportions.  Those that do the 20-mile course will enjoy a very scenic route and have a hospitality station as well.  Local, county, and state police officers will be volunteering their time/resources to keep things safe all around the course.  At least one SAG will be deployed by our charity of choice--Habitat for Humanity.  After returning to The Club, a social event will take place thereby lending itself to getting to know your fellow bikers and talking about the events of the day! All participants will receive a free t-shirt (if registered on time) and a number of sponsor freebees.

The event starts and ends at the Jamerson Family YMCA, and riders are invited to camp out the night before either in the gymnasium or outside on the soccer field to get an early start. Snyder Greenway Fund.   Ride starts and ends at 8:30 am at Courthouse Square in downtown Albemarle.   Riders receive a tee shirt and lunch.   Rest stops are set up every 15-20 miles along the route.   Cost is $25 in advance and $30 day of event.

Saturday August 12, 2017 - West Jefferson, NC - New routes for 2017. Safer roads, better scenery but still JUST AS BRUTAL. Not for the faint hearted. One of the most challenging road bike rides in the spectacular mountains of North Carolina with 55, 72 and 102 mile options. For those who are up for it, there’s also the optional Assault on Mount Jefferson - about 1500 ft. of elevation gain over 3.1 miles. All rides take you on to the Blue Ridge Parkway for over 21 glorious miles. Every year we are told by many experienced riders this is the best ride they have participated in. Needless to say, there’s excellent SAG support, ample rest stops, food and beer at the end as well as your own free BRB beer glass and BRB cycle socks to take home with you.

Saturday August 12, 2017 - Denver, NC - Robin Isenberg was a Mother, Wife, and one of the owners of Blood, Sweat, Gears Cycle. She fought Ovarian cancer for 3 and a half years and lost her battle on August 9th, 2015. With some help she created Robin's Ride for Hope in order to combat the Cancer that whispers. Last year the ride donated $8000 to the Foundation for Women's Cancer and an additional $2000 to the Fighting Cancer Inc. who do the Sunshine boxes. The ride hopes to raise even more in the years to come!

Saturday August 19, 2017 - Clinton, SC - A fund-raising event for Hospice of Laurens County since 2006, Flight of the Dove features a metric century (62 miles), a 30 mile ride, and a 14 mile leisure ride. A 50 mile variation of the metric century is also available.  Cue sheets and directions to the stadium are available at www.hospiceoflaurenscounty.com. All rides are SAG'ed and have frequent, well-stocked rest stops. Saturday October 7, 2017 - Richmond, VA - The two-day ride will start at Sports Backers Stadium and take participants on a 156-mile route from the capital of Virginia to the nation’s capital, finishing in Rosslyn adjacent to the Key Bridge with dramatic views of Washington, D.C. On day one, riders will travel 75 miles through Lakeside, U.S. Bike Route 1, Ashland, and Caroline and Spotsylvania counties before ending on a paved multi-use trail in Old Mill Park in downtown Fredericksburg along the Rappahannock River. Day two will take riders across the Rappahannock into Stafford County and Quantico for 35 miles of rural riding and paved trails, followed by low-speed roads through Manassas before a totally unbroken network of paved trails in Centerville at mile 46. These trails will take riders all the way to the finish festival at Gateway Park at the base of the Key Bridge.

Starting and ending at the Tasty Weasel tasting room at Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard NC! Riders will head out on flat valley roads near the base of Pisgah National Forest. They’ll meander along the French Broad River before heading into Henderson County and then back to Oskar Blues. These routes will lead riders on a fully guided and supported tour of some Transylvania County’s finest roads!
