Thursday Rides
All rides posted require the rider to wear a helmet. Riders should have a ride appropriate bicycle in good working order, food and water. It is also suggested to carry a spare tube, basic tool kit, emergency contact information and ID. All ride starts are subject to weather. Posted start times may change as the season progresses. Contact the listed ride leader with any ride specific questions.

5:15am CoCaC (Corner of Carmel and Colony Ride)
The CoCaC rides from the Corner of Carmel and Colony roads promptly at 5:15 a.m. On Tuesday & Thursday both A & B groups start together and follow the same route 28 mile loop. On Wednesdays and Fridays there is just one group. Although much of the route is well-lit, front and rear lights are required for safety.

  5:45am Y Xtreme Team Indoor Cycle Series - Harris YMCA
These are 1 hour classes starting at 5:45am. The moves and drills are designed with road cyclists in mind. This is a great way to exercise and stay in touch with your fellow bikers. This series is for YMCA members only.

 9:00am Y Xtreme Team Thursday Siskey YMCA Ride
This is a long running ride for all ability levels. A fun, social ride from Colonel Francis Beatty Park. The ride starts from Lake Pointe Hall which is at the very back of the park. No ride if it's raining or below 40 deg. at the start of ride.

11:00am Y Xtreme Team Thursday Beginner Ride
This is a ride for anyone that is new to cycling or just getting back into it. We'll spend time on the basics of riding, equipment and training. A fun, social ride from Colonel Francis Beatty park. The ride starts from Lake Point Hall which is at the very back of the park. No ride if its raining or below 40 deg. at the start of the ride. This ride leaves out after the 9am ride returns to the park.

5:45pm Ballantyne Tues/Thurs Ride
This ride will take us from the Morrison YMCA towards Waxhaw using different routes. The routes will be shorter in the spring getting longer as the days get longer. There is light vehicle traffic on most roads but short distances are heavily travelled.

5:45pm Mint Hill - Fairview Park Ride
Moderately paced ride thru Mecklenburg, Stanley and Cabarrus counties, with 1,241 feet of climbing. The ride will continue thru August 31. Ride is cancelled only if it is raining at start time.

6:00pm The Bee Team Thursday Ride
It's always a good time when you ride with the Bees. The new Thursday night ride is open to all but the team does state a minimum 14 mph min. pace rule for all rides. The route includes a few hills and plenty of beautiful countryside.

Ride starting at The Right Gear in Kannapolis, going through downtown Kannapolis, and Enochville. Check the web site for updated ride status and more ride details.

6:00pm The Lowes Ride
The Lowes ride leaves from the east-end of the Lowe's Home Improvement parking lot every Tuesday & Thursday at 6pm sharp. The route will change as the days get longer. The pace is brisk on Tuesdays and will split on the road on Thursdays into two groups...a fast group and very fast group! This ride is for advanced level riders only
