Novice Level Rides
All rides posted require the rider to wear a helmet. Riders should have a ride appropriate bicycle in good working order, food and water. It is also suggested to carry a spare tube, basic tool kit, emergency contact information and ID. All ride starts are subject to weather. Posted start times may change as the season progresses. Join us for a Monday night road ride from the Morrison Y back lot. This ride is a great way to start the week. Steve and Lori will guide you on a great route out to Bonds Grove and back. The group will usually break into a few different paces. It's a No Drop ride and beginners are welcome. Steve leads the Monday night ride and Lori leads the Wednesday night ride.

7:00pm Cabarrus Creamery Family Ride
Cabarrus Creamery and Central Carolina Cycling Club will host a weekly family oriented ride starting at the parking lot behind the Cabarrus Creamery in Concord at 7 PM (see update below). This ride will make a 3 mile loop through downtown Concord and return to the starting point. Multiple loops are encouraged! Parking is available behind the Creamery on Church Street in the public lot. This is a true social/beginner/family ride. Join the C4 gang at the Creamery after the ride!

  6:15pm C4 Depompa's Ride
Tuesdays we will have an evening ride starting at Depompa's Comfortable Foods restaurant in Cannon Village. 215 West A Street, Kannapolis 28083 at 6:15 PM. This will be split into an A, B and C rides. The A Ride will be race pace 18mph+ full drop ride at about 26 miles. The B Ride will be a NO DROP Ride that will follow the A ride route , but at a slower pace. The C ride will be a true beginner ride at 14 miles.

11:00am Y Xtreme Team Thursday Beginner Ride
This is a ride for anyone that is new to cycling or just getting back into it. We'll spend time on the basics of riding, equipment and training. A fun, social ride from Colonel Francis Beatty park. The ride starts from Lake Point Hall which is at the very back of the park. No ride if its raining or below 40 deg. at the start of the ride. This ride leaves out after the 9am ride returns to the park.

It's always a good time when you ride with the Bees. The new Thursday night ride is open to all but the team does state a minimum 14 mph min. pace rule for all rides. The route includes a few hills and plenty of beautiful countryside.

8:00am SAMBO "C" Ride
The SAMBO (Saturday AM Bike Outing) features A, B, and C rides intended to accommodate all levels of riders. All groups will leave from The Right Gear in Kannapolis at 8am every Saturday. The "C" ride will run on most of the same roads as the A & B, but will cut off several of the more challenging sections. For those who want to take it easy and be social, or want to get some riding tips from a more experienced rider, this one's for you. This ride will be a no-drop, 13-15 mph pace ride and is flexible depending on who shows up.

Great weekend recovery ride starting at 5:00pm. 3 groups leave out based on the average pace of the group; 1st group- 18+mph, will leave first 2nd group- 15-17 mph, will leave second, apporximately 5 mins later. 3rd group will include all riders who wish to ride at a slower pace.
