A community effort

The Angel Tree Bike Build brings together four community partners with one shared goal: putting smiles on kids’ faces and bicycles in their hands this holiday season. The Spokes Group’s generosity supplies the bikes, WeeklyRides.com brings the volunteer effort together, and Bart Stetler of Queen City Bicycles lends his mechanical expertise to guide the team and get the bikes ready to ride. The Salvation Army completes the journey by delivering the bikes to children in our community at their annual Angel Tree event. Together with our volunteers, this partnership turns boxes of bicycles into holiday joy for more than 800 Charlotte kids.
